The Gun Powder Girls

About Us

"Making Every Shot Count."

Our Story

We, the Gun Powder Girls, believe in the power and strength of women. We are committed to our personal safety and the safety of our sisters. Through knowledge, training, and preparedness, we defend ourselves and our loved ones. We stand tall, united, and unyielding in the face of adversity. We are the guardians of our own protection, and together, we create a world where every woman can thrive.

Mission

To equip women with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to protect themselves and feel confident in their personal safety, ultimately creating a safe and empowered community of women.

Empower. Educate. Protect

Driven by my experiences and aspirations, I felt a strong desire to create a club that would provide a platform for like-minded women to come together. I envisioned a space where we could share knowledge, foster camaraderie, and empower each other in the realm of firearms. Thus, The Gun Powder Girls was born—a community dedicated to women's empowerment, personal protection, and the joy of responsibly enjoying the shooting sports. With a foundation rooted in my upbringing, my love for firearms, and my belief in the power of women coming together, I am thrilled to continue this journey of education, empowerment within The Gun Powder Girls. Together, we will enhance our skills, promote safety, and create a supportive environment where every woman can confidently embrace her passion for firearms.

Co- Founder

I’ve always been intrigued by firearms, but will admit to feeling a sense of trepidation that held me back from fully embracing my interest. Enter Raquel. We have a long history of friendship and she’s always been one to tout the importance of women’s self-defense, not to foster fear, but drum in the necessity of preparedness. It is with an open mind and a thirst for knowledge I am approaching this challenge. My successful and robust business knowledge is why I understand becoming proficient in anything requires dedication, practice, and proper education. I’m on a mission to expand my comfort zone with gun sport, and connect with like-minded women in instruction of gun safety fundamentals, marksmanship, and self-defense techniques. Success is on the other side of fear. Together, we will empower one another, educate one another and protect one another.
